Six-time Oscar winning movie director, Joseph Logan, known for classics like Saving General Riley and the Deaf side has suddenly retired. This decision comes after a near death incident that put him in the hospital and gave him a new perspective on life.

“It was a heart attack, and it was terrifying” he exclaimed to us

“But not for the sake that i could die, but for a feeling that i had been missing a huge part of my life, family.”

Logan lived in San Diego CA. With his wife Katy, and two older children named Noah and Grace. He did not spend much time with the children in their younger years due to his vigorous work schedule and has made a commitment to spend more time with them.

Logan started his career as a coffee boy for his local movie and tv companies but wasn’t getting much of an opportunity to learn or show his interest in directing and screenwriting. This led to him quitting his coffee boy job and starting an internship as a writer for Universal studios, he wasn’t getting paid for his internship but at least he could learn and attempt to get his foot in the door to launch his career.

After many turned away attempts of ideas or pieces of his, Logan finally landed an assistant screenwriter role for a seperate movie company that was under public distress at the time. Logan still chose to take the job amid all of the murky accusations that were being thrown at the company

Logan managed to not only lead the writing team to their first oscar for best screenwriting of the year, but also helped a struggling company that was under heavy public fire explode with success and fortune.

As of before his retirement, Logan was CEO of a major studios corporation called moviemedia, which has made many classics we know today. In his 20 tenure as CEO, Logan has made close to 850 million dollars and built a successful career for himself.
