Is wearing a helmet always safe?

Indian law demands us to “wear a helmet when you ride a bike”. However, it is not always safe and it will not always protect you from death.

I saw people lose their lives in accidents even when they wear a helmet. People who ride a bike always tend to face a lot of damage.

Everyone thinks that bikers are the problem but it’s not true all the time.

Small mistakes made by truck/bus drivers cause most of these problems.

Last week, while I was going back from office I saw an accident. It was a young couple, and the rider was wearing a helmet. Looking at the scene, I understood that the truck driver tried to jump the signal and he ran over the bike. In a minute, the lady lost her hand and her husband. The truck driver might get 2 years of imprisonment or some menial penalty for making this accident. The family never gets any immediate relief.

Everyone who drives a vehicle should follow the rules. “Speeding kills” but I see a lot of accidents happening on city roads, even where the speed limit is 30. What kind of laws should the government bring in to reduce accidents in India?

The government has to come up with different ideas to regulate the speed limit by placing sensors on the road. They can lay tracks on the roads for different vehicles, road safety could be taught to people when people apply for their driving license, and more.

Wait, read the above paragraph one more time. Yes, the government has been doing all these awareness programs for many years. But still, we see a lot of accidents happen So, the change should happen within everyone.

There’s a huge market in this area for entrepreneurs to invest time and money.

I came across this video where someone has to build an airbag which would protect at the time of accidents.

Considering the fact that we have a huge market in India and most of the people prefer to commute in bikes every day, investors should look for money in products that would save bikers life at the time of an accident.
